About us
I own Labrador Retrievers from working, field trial lines since 2009, when I bought my first working Labrador from Hungary. It was Blackthor Giansar "Gori", with whom I discovered all the beauties of this type of retriever. The target of our kennel is to breed dogs that are easy to live and companions for activities tipical for the breed, but also for modern sports. I also offer training of all breeds of retrievers with a focus on their abilities without using force methods.
Trial labrador
These dogs are mainly bred for their natural ability and performance. With this in mind, they are also lighter in body structure than the classic Labrador. The typical working labrador is extremely teachable and works primarily for the pleasure of working with his owner. There is an expression in English for this characteristic, "will to please". These dogs are easily motivated to play or treats. Temperament should be balanced, dogs should not be very overactive, excited but not to lethargic. They are highly valued for their style in working (especially game finding), drive, willingness to work on game, ability to mark and soft mouth. All this makes the trial Labrador a great dog for working on small game. However, they find their place also in sports such as Working Tests, Obedience, Rescue, or in emergency forces and detection work etc. They are much more fixated on their owner and family than other pepople and dogs. Therefore, they can sometimes appear more introverted to their the other than a classic Labrador.

I have been interested in dogs and their training since childhood. Since 2010 I have been competing with my working Labradors in the highest classes of Working Tests, International Field Trials, where all of my previous bitches have been awarded "excellent" and one of them was awarded the highest title Int. FTCh.
I have represented the Czech Republic several times at IWT (International Working Test).
I gained my knowledge and skills in retriever training mainly from trainers and judges from England but also from the continent. With my dogs I participate in training sessions with foreign trainers every year.
My breeding beginnings date back to 2013 when we made a litter of working Labradors under my ex-husband's kennel Dark Lavondyss. My kennel under FCI is now called Field Edition.
I have been working in the pet supplies sector since 2011. Since 2022 I am the exclusive distributor of the brand Dog & Field training equipment for hunting dogs in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
My friend Andrea Šimoníková and I have tried to share our knowledge in two books, which have been published in Czech, Training with Retriever - Inspiration for building the basics and Training with Retriever - Preparing a puppy retriever. Both of these books can be purchased in our e-shop (czech language only).

I have always enjoyed the character of retrievers and their willingness to work. My first Labrador joined me as a buddy and family dog. After his sudden departure, I became excited about working Labradors and so began my life with Max. At the beginning of our life together I had no experience with working retrievers but I knew it would be my destiny hobby. With Max, I have been through just about every training problem you can imagine since the beginning. But thanks to my endurance and methodical trainings that I learned not only from Czech but also from foreign top trainers, we successfully passed them. I went from a series of setbacks to several victories in the highest Open class. Sport has made me learn to accept defeat and victory with humility and to keep trying to improve. I am happy to help train all beginners and advanced dogs interested in this great activity with retrievers.
